· After you schedule your visit you will receive a confirmation with with the date and time of your visit and a link to a Visitor Information Sheet and Campus Map. Hopefully this information will help you navigate your way to our office and explain our security protocol/access procedures that are in place on our campus.
Arriving to Gonzaga
Gonzaga is located on 19 Eye Street, off North Capitol and in between H and K Streets NW. We are very close to Union Station. Please be advised that if you use your GPS to find “Eye Street”, this will be problematic. “Eye”- I Street is no longer a through street off North Capitol. You may only enter Gonzaga College High School from 1st Street NW now. You will at once see a circle and a gated entrance. There will be Visitor parking spaces on the right (across from our building, Forte Hall). Please note that DC traffic and arriving at Gonzaga may take longer than what is suggested on the GPS or from other schools. Please insure that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment so that you will have ample time to meet with any interested students.
***Parking***
In addition to the visitor parking spaces across from Forte (where the college counseling offices are located), there are also spaces in the parking garage (under our football field). Drive through the entrance and visitor parking will be labeled on the right in the middle lane. They are frequently used throughout the day on a first come-first served basis. If the space is being used and you are here for your appointment, please see any of our police officers. They can also guide you to any available parking spot. It is highly suggested you put your business card on your dashboard indicating you are here for a visit.
Location of the College Counseling Offices
Our offices are located on the 2nd floor of Forte Hall Forte Hall is the first building on the left hand side (opposite outside visitor parking) after you reach the circle and outside the gated entrance. Please enter Forte Hall through the double glass doors. If you are unsure or feel lost, always feel free to call Ann Hoffman, our College Visit Coordinator (her number is below) or Eli Clarke (202-336-7131) when you arrive so we can assist you.
Miscellaneous
